Stepping On offers participants a way of reducing falls and at the same time increasing self-confidence in situations where they are at risk of falling. It covers a range of issues, including falls and risk, strength and balance exercises, home hazards, safe footwear, vision and falls, safety in public places, community mobility, coping after a fall, and how to initiate a medication review.
Audience: Adults who have a fear of or are at risk of falling.

In-Person Class
Duration
- 2-hour sessions
- 7 sessions, 1 class per week for 7 weeks
- “Booster session” 3 months later (not scheduled in yourjuniper.org)
Leaders
- 2 leaders
- 1 leader should be a peer
- Requires 3-day training
- Leaders must teach 2 classes in their first year after training and 1 class per year after that to maintain program certification

- Display board and sample equipment- walking sticks, bath mat, yac tracks
