Tips for Participants for your Zoom S.A.I.L. Class
- Clear an area 6 X 6 feet in front of your computer
- Hard floor is preferable to carpet if possible
- You need a sturdy, armless chair that does not have wheels or a front crossbar
- Determine the amount of weight you want to use (tips below)
- Place your water bottle and weights under your chair
- Lace on good workout shoes
How to determine the correct amount of weight to use
- Start LIGHT – it is more important to have correct technique
- If it is difficult to do 8 correct reps, you have too much weight
- If you can do 15 correct reps quite easily, you should add weight
- Bicep Curls are a good test. Lateral raises are a bad test.
